Dear Valued Business Partners,
Well-Heart Corporation has received many concerns and encouraging messages from many of our business partners around the world after the catastrophic earthquake which struck our nation on March 11, 2011.
All Well-Heart Staff were moved by your thoughtful and invigorating words, and I would like to extend my deepest gratitude in your kindness to take your time to send us these messages.
I am happy to say that all of my staff working in and out of the office during the event were all safe, though many of them could not go home until midnight, as public transportation were paralyzed.
At the same time our office compound had suffered only minimal damage, and all means of communication which had failed during the event had now been fully recovered.
However, the devastating aftermath of this historical disaster continues to damage our nation with more problems which seem to be growing despite our government’s efforts to recover.
Starting from March 14, 2011, Japan’s major electric company together with the government started scheduled blackouts in the eastern part of Japan including its capital regions, in attempt to alleviate power shortage, which severely impacted the railway transportation system, which most of the citizens rely on as public transportation.
Shortages in gasoline and essential supplies are becoming more serious in these regions.
Victims of the earthquake and tsunami housed in shelters, are now suffering from limited food and water, as well as worried for their loved ones unable to be located.
Our nation is now facing what is known as the worst disaster in our nation’s History.
Restoration of our nation may not be easy. However, we will take your warm concerns to our heart, and work hard toward recovery of our nation. In which event, we are certain we will be able to establish an even stronger partnership with you.
Sincerely,
Yoshikazu Imafuku
C.E.O.
